2. Services
We provide vehicle repair and maintenance services, which may include diagnostics, MOT preparation, servicing, and parts replacement.
All service bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service if the vehicle is not safe or if parts are not available.
3. Pricing and Quotes
Any prices shown on this website are indicative only. A full quote will be provided upon inspection of your vehicle. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless agreed otherwise, ie. payment upfront for a specific part. We accept payment by cash, credit/debit cards, bank transfer & payment plan via Payment Assist.
Unpaid invoices may result in withholding of the vehicle until full payment is received. Interest may be charged on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance where possible. Continuous missed appointments may incur a fee.
6. Warranty
SME Autos Ltd is registered with the Auto Care group*, all parts supplied by us and labour are covered by Auto Care Nationwide warranty, 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or unauthorised repairs.
7. Liability
While we aim to deliver high-quality services, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. We are not liable for items left in the vehicle. Customers are responsible for removing valuables before service.
8. Use of Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to misuse or interfere with its operation. All content is the property of [Your Mechanic Workshop Name] and must not be copied or redistributed without permission.
9. Privacy

*AUTOCARE NATIONWIDE WARRANTY IMPORTANT CONDITIONS
ORIGINAL REPAIR GARAGE:
Claims made within a 25 mile radius of the original repair garage are not covered under the warranty. The vehicle must be returned to the original repairer for standard warranty procedures.

TRANSFERABILITY:
The warranty stays with the vehicle and is not transferable between owners.

DOCUMENTATION:
Provide initial Repair documentation to both the Autocare Nationwide Warranty Team and the new repair garage before work begins.

GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE:
Valid only in the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

CLAIM LIMIT:
The warranty covers a maximum single claim up to £2,000.

EXCLUSIONS

Routine wear & tear of parts.

Engine & gearbox reconditioning.

Abuse of fitted parts, accidents, or excessive work load.

Electric & Hybrid vehicles are not covered for EV batteries, motors, drivetrain, or HVAC systems.

Recovery costs are not covered.
